Philippe Cartoux’s wines have distinguished distribution within France, being seen in numerous Michelin starred restaurants from Alain Ducasse’s restaurant at the top of the Eiffel tower and Taillevent in Paris to the Robuchon group. Over the last decade he has converted to organic viticulture and also to making wine with minimal sulphites – and his wines transparently show the benefits.
Aromas of ripe red and black fruit on the nose mixed with spicy notes. On the palate, the wine combines freshness, volume and crunch. The tannins are silky and very discreet. We find very delicious notes on red fruits and spices, in the continuity of the nose.
70% Grenache Noir, 20% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah
