This wine is a delightful curiosity. It is light in color, but has a surprising tannic backbone. It is happy with food or without. It can be served cool or room temperature and is charming in different ways, depending on your choice. It is hyper-local of Liguria and worth checking out!

Durin provides us with the freshest and purest example of Rosesse. This one is meant to be consumed young as its allure is the intoxicating notes of underripe strawberries, raspberry compote and roses that greet you from the glass. Incredibly mineral-driven with an acidity that pushes its lean juicy/silky body towards a mouthwatering and slightly spicy finish. Best served with a slight chill, 15-minute decanting recommended.

Durin is a winery seated in Ortovero (SV) established in 1978 by Antonio Basso, which embodies the third generation of wine growers in his family. The growing of the first vines can be traced back to the Twenties and, to the present day, they range up to 18 hectares of steep terraced vineyards in the Arroscia Valley.

A light ruby red color. Ample, intense, persistent, fine and fruity to the smell with scents of rose, strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and lightly winy. Dry and rich to the taste but fairly soft and pleasantly warm, medium-bodied and lightly tannic.
