Winemaker Notes Deep reddish purple with aromas of bright berry/cherry fruit. Big body yet very balanced with luscious layers of raspberry, cherry, and cocoa flavors. Just a hint of baking spice at the end brings it all together. Blend: 60% Bonarda, 40% Malbec Critical Acclaim James Suckling 93 Aromas of lavender, crushed blackberry, raspberry, dried herb and mocha. It’s medium-bodied with firm, fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity. Wonderfully juicy with a fragrant, lightly meaty character. 60% Bonarda and 40% malbec. Delicious now. Wine & Spirits 90 This is a tarry blend of 60 percent bonarda from Rivadavia, east of Mendoza city, with malbec from Tikal’s Vista Flores vineyard. The average age of the vines is 55 years, producing concentrated fruit with brambly edges.
