2018 Buglioni Il Disperato Bianco Garganega
In June 1993, Alfredo Buglioni and his family purchased an old farmhouse surrounded vineyards and olive groves in Valpolicella Classico, northwest of Verona, Italy. The newly minted wine producers wasted no time offering up regional delights such as the Buglioni Il Disperato Bianco delle Venezie IGT. A still white wine that is fine, elegant and lonely in a land of red wines.
Straw yellow color with a golden shimmer. Intense aromas, rich with notes of flowers and tropical fruit, especially mango and pineapple. Good structure and acidity. Round in the mouth, savory and balanced. Besides being a pleasant apéritif, its full flavor pairs well with refined meat and fish appetizers, crudités, aromatic pasta or rice dishes, grilled white meat or fish.
Italy, Veneto, Garganega
