An enticing white for its tightly-grained flavors of lemon oil, citronella, sweet corn and vanilla-infused oak aromas and flavors. It’s dense and saturated, still needing a little time to relax. Best from 2021 through 2028.

Background hints of matchstick and oak toast can be found on the mildly exotic white orchard fruit aromas. There is an almost creamy texture to the round, delicious and seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that possess good punch but somewhat limited depth, at least at present.

• A unique appellation that encompasses all vineyard plantings within the limits of the town center of Chassagne-Montrachet
• Soil: Calcareous clay
• Vine Age: Average 35 years old
• Aging: 12 months in French oak (25% new, combination of 228L, 450L and 500L), with periodic lees stirring; Transferred to tank where it rested for
2–3 months before a light filtration and bottling
• Production: 5 barrels
• Sits just below the town of Chassagne, mid-slope, and has a higher proportion of clay lending more weight and richness. One of the more showy 1er crus, but still with great depth.
