Beaujolais insiders know that the volcanic soils of Mont Brouilly are the source of some of the most refined, aromatic Gamay wines. Winemaker Gilbert Chetaille’s 100-year-old vines on the steepest slopes of this mountain deliver a cru wine with spice, soul and staying power.

Estate vines are located on the hill of Brouilly, at altitude, in the commune of Quincié-en-Beaujolais. Soils locally are called the “blue stones of Brouilly,” combining hard blue schist and granite. A smooth, juicy Gamay with just enough of everything: concentration, spice, staying power.
