Roland Thevenin was a grape grower in the first part of the Twentieth Century selling his fruit to negociants. His family kept the farming practice for many years before selling the property and the reputable name. Today, Gregory Patriat, the winemaker for Jean Claude Boisset is making small lots of wine under the name Roland Thevenin. This lovely Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay is produced from fruit in the Meursault commune. A hint of oak on the nose with clear scent of chardonnay. This wine is clearly a well crafted, smooth wine with a medium weight on the palate. It shows some lemon on entry and then very elegant chardonnay characteristics. Easy acidity makes this a very easy drinking wine. An adult signature is required upon delivery, so please keep that in mind when shipping this gift to friends, family & peers. There is no minimum.
