2013 Handley Cellars Anderson Valley Pinot Noir
Handley Cellars is a small family-owned winery in California’s Mendocino County, bonded in 1982. They are located at the northwest end of the Anderson Valley on 59 acres of the original Holmes Ranch.
It opens with a mild rose bush and black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, soft, elegant and plush. The flavor profile is a mild plum with notes of gentle minerality and black raspberry. A touch of cola, oak and black tea. The finish is dry and subtle. This Pinot is very food friendly.
