2013 Chateau d'Haurets Bordeaux
The Ducourt family settled in Bordeaux in 1858 as owners of the local flour mill. By 1885 Pierre Ducourt was planting grapevines which have remained
the family business since. In 1951 Henri Ducourt took over the family business and systematically began improving quality. Today his three children,
Bernard, Philippe and Marie-Christine oversee the vineyards and winery.
Their goal is to produce good Bordeaux of excellent value. While the property is not in any of the most famous locations, the 1000 acres in Bordeaux allow
them to select the best fruit for their wines.
Intense and fresh aroma of the wine is demonstrated by fragrant hints of flowers and red fruit. The 2013 shows rich, harmonious, well-balanced flavor
with hints of cherries, dark berries and spices. Nice balance and gentle tannins.
