Brian Mast and Jennifer Waits loved wine. The more they read, drank and studied it the more they knew that they wanted to make wine. They experimented and found that with the right help they could craft some pretty nice Pinot Noir. In fact, some really impressive Pinot Noir. It is so impressive that it was served recently at a State dinner at the White House hosted by the President and First Lady. The 2012 Mariah Vineyard Pinot Noir is delightful coming from Mendocino Ridge, a remote vineyard producing exquisite wine. It has hints of white pepper and earth on the nose with some black cherry, cedar and blackberry pie. There is a richness on the palate with black raspberry, black cherry, blackberry, brown sugar and a velvety texture.
