After graduating from UC Davis Rudy Von Strasser interned for a year at Chateau Lafite Rothschild. Returning to the US with a dream to work with Cabernet he spent time at Trefethen and Newton before starting the very successful Von Strasser line of Cabernet Sauvignon. Fresh cranberries, rich cocoa, tart bing cherries, rich/full palate, smooth tannins.

A blend of special vineyard plots within Lake County AVA, Napa Valley AVA and Suisun AVA.
Each AVA along with the unique varietal blend, combine to create a unique expression that brings forth a delectable expression of Cabernet Sauvignon.

This bold Cabernet Sauvignon has great perfume of fresh picked cranberries. Abundant dark red fruits with pronounced ripe currant, blackberry and plum. Complimented by hints of green herbs, leather, cacao, vanilla and baking spice. All of which are wrapped by silky tannins.

The grapes are sourced from: 72% Lake County Vineyards, 15% Napa Valley, 13% Suisun Valley.
