2016 Big Table Farm Chardonnay

$ 42.99

We currently have 3 in stock.

Some of the nicest folk we've met in the wine trade. Clare designs a new label for each of the farm's wines EVERY YEAR.

Sourced from the 8 Willamette Valley vineyardss. Barrel fermented in French oak (about 10% new) with yeast that blew in the door, and bottled after 11 months of aging. We think this wine will steal your heart, it has a special place in ours.

tasting notes-
This wine’s aromatics offer up pear, beeswax, pineapple, clove and cinnamon.  The nectar-like fruit concentration and a persistent white floral note show off the perfectly developed golden grapes. The acid is fine and complex without any hard edges giving this wine tension to help you appreciate it’s luxury.

95 points Wine Enthusiast
This stunning wine was fermented in 10% new French oak and shows pinpoint stone fruit, Meyer lemon, butterscotch and toast flavors. Firmly anchored with bright acidity that underscores the fruit and lengthens the finish, it keeps going and going. Drink now-2028. *Top 100 Wines of 2018, Editors' Choice* (PG) (8/2018)

92 points Wine Spectator
Graceful and vibrant, with floral Meyer lemon and verbena aromas and elegantly layered apple and spice flavors that linger on the finish. Drink now through 2020. (TF) (8/2018)
