2012 Pegasus Cabernet Sauvignon
Renowned vintner Ken Brown is making the wine at Pegasus. After a long career of mastering Pinot Noir and Chardonnay he decided to return to his early leanings and work with Cabernet Sauvignon. Pegasus Cabernet grapes are estate grown in Santa Ynez.
This vintage is equally complex and balanced with the perfect array of tannins and acids creating a silky palate. It shows black cherry, tobacco ash, soft cedar and rose petals on the nose and offers complex black pepper, thyme red cherry, turned earth and dried mint flavors. Aged 18 – 20 months in 100% French Oak barrels, this Cabernet Sauvignon is ready to be enjoyed now.
