Shipping Costs
All orders are charged a flat rate of $19.99 per shipment.

Shipping Rules, Regulations and some logic:

- We ship primarily with FedEx using the various services available depending on conditions.

- During extreme weather, (especially winter and summer) we reserve the right to hold your shipment until the weather improves. Wine does not like being frozen or boiled and tends, in either case, to push the cork out of the bottle in an undramatic and very messy fashion. During the summer, we offer cold shipping services for an additional fee. 

- By Federal Law, you must be 21 years old to order and receive wine. By placing an order you represent to Accidental Wine.com that you are at least 21 years old.At the time of delivery, someone 21 years or older must be present to sign for the wine.

- If no one is available during normal business hours at your shipping address to sign for the wine, we encourage you to have the package shipped to your business address to ensure fast, interruption-free delivery. Fedex offers a nifty service that will allow you to ship to a FedexOffice. But beware! They only hold your package for 5 days and then ship it back.

- Wine cannot be delivered to a P.O. Box.

- Due to state laws and regulations, wine can only be shipped to certain States. While legislation regarding the shipment of wine changes frequently, we are clear today that the following States will not allow incoming shipments:

Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Vermont.

- Please allow 5-10 business days on most orders for delivery. Shipping times vary depending upon location and circumstances. Tracking information will be emailed to you when your order has been processed for shipment. Now that we have said all those official sounding things, we think this will all be faster and we will do our best to make sure you get a quality shipment in the shortest possible time.

Returns
We have a 90 day return policy. If more than 90 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we are unable offer you a refund or exchange.

If your wine was corked or oxidized, please contact us immediately, and be sure to keep the wine and cork, as the return of these items is required by California state law. A refund or replacement will be provided based on receipt of the bottle and cork.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the winery.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If - approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Please note we are not responsible for wines that may be affected by extreme weather (hot & cold). We highly recommend selecting 2 day ground or air shipment for these situations.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
We have noticed that it can take as long as 7 business days for a refund to be posted to your account, something we find astonishing in this age. Please check with your bank, credit card company and/or digital payment processor. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sales@accidentalwine.com.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at support@accidentalwine.com and send your item to:

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Please use a trackable shipping service with shipping insurance. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Also note that it is illegal to ship wine via USPS! Go figure!
