The district of Pietrarizzo, since the last century, is considered by the natives of the area to be one of the finest crus. The vine used is the Nerello Mascalese arranged in terraces, vinified in cement tanks and aged in large wooden barrels.

The smooth, elegant palate doles out juicy red cherry, strawberry, white pepper and clove alongside polished, silky tannins. Bright acidity gives it tension and energy. It's already approachable, but will age well for several more years. Drink through 2026.
