Deep, dark color with violet highlights. It displays a wide spectrum of aromas extending from dark berries to hints of coffee and tobacco. On the palate, it has a strong, tart, fruity taste and an intense bouquet with the typical, slightly bitter aromas of the Lagrein grape. This red wine has a long after-taste. Despite its fullness, the wine appears soft and elegant with velvety tannins.

Production area:
Bolzano - Classical growing area of St. Magdalena at approx. 300 m a.s.l. with loamy moraine rubble, river gravel, sand inclusions and weathering of the quartz porphyry. This soil structure heats up during the day and stores this heat. A stream of fresh air from the Eisack Valley constantly blows through the rows of vines. The interplay of these natural influences characterizes the terroir of this vineyard.

Fliederhof Winery
Fliederhof Winery, the first documentary evidence of which dates back to the year 1306, is located in the traditional St. Magdalener region, immediately below the village church of Prazöll. The inn was quite popular in the 19th century, but suffered damage during the First World War and was therefore closed. Today, the vintner Stefan Ramoser, his wife Astrid, and his son Martin devote all their energies to producing natural high-quality wines.
